Our Recap of the GT World Series
World Finals in Barcelona

This year, three of our drivers qualified for the World Finals in both official championships, the Nations Cup and the Manufacturers Cup.

A group of PRiMA Esports drivers was in Barcelona over the weekend of December 1-3, 2023, for the World Finals on Gran Turismo 7. Keanu De Vroe qualified for the Nations Cup to represent Belgium, while Dean Heldt and Mateo Estevez qualified for the Manufacturers Cup, representing Genesis and Nissan, respectively. Keanu and his teammates struggled to break free from the middle of the grid throughout the races leading up to the grand finale. The issue with persistent and aggressive drivers persisted in the final, resulting in numerous contact penalties that prevented them from achieving better than an 8th-place global ranking.

As for the Manufacturers Cup, things went much better, with Dean on Genesis finishing on the final podium alongside his teammates, securing a 3rd place in the last meters before the finish line, miraculously avoiding an accident involving several cars in the final S before the Nordschleife connection.

Once again this year, we clinched the Manufacturers Cup championship with Mateo on Nissan, making him our team's 4th GT World Series world champion.
